Ikebana Flower Vessel
Ikebana is a Japanese style of flower arranging. The term means, “The way of the flower”. Becca designed a floral bowl shape to arrange flowers using this method. These bowls have a floral pin frog glued into the bottom. You simply cut the flower stem flat on the bottom, stick it down onto the spikes and arrange the flowers with different heights. Usually, 1 to 3 stems do the trick! You don’t need many flowers to make a nice display. You may use fresh or dried flowers and pour water into the bowl. If you’d like to cover the pin frog, just put some small pebbles or rocks around the flowers.
It is handmade and high fired in a gas kiln. It features multiple color combinations and a stenciled flower pattern.
This floral bowl holds about 8 ounces of water and measures around 3.5" tall and 7" in diameter at the rim.
These are made to be simple, beautiful, and easy to arrange.
Keep in mind that these items are handmade and will have slight variations in color, shape, and size.
